White Cheddar & Spinach Chicken Burgers

Ingredients
  

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 egg, lightly beaten

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Olive oil for cooking

Burger buns and toppings (such as lettuce, tomato, and avocado)

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, white cheddar, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, minced garlic, beaten egg, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Mix everything together until well combined.

    Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to ensure even cooking.

      Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat and add a splash of olive oil. Once hot, place the patties in the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes on one side.

        Flip the patties and cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the burgers are golden brown.

          Remove the patties from the pan and let them rest for a couple of minutes.

            Toast the burger buns lightly in the same skillet if desired.

              Assemble the burgers by placing each chicken patty on a bun and adding your favorite toppings such as lettuce, tomato, and avocado.

                Serve immediately and enjoy your flavorful White Cheddar & Spinach Chicken Burgers!
