Ingredients

1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Crescent Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface. Separate the dough into triangular pieces along the perforated edges.

Add the Filling: On each crescent triangle, sprinkle a little mozzarella cheese, followed by 2-3 slices of pepperoni. Add a pinch of Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes if you like a bit of heat.

Roll It Up: Starting from the wide end of the crescent triangle, roll the dough toward the point, encasing the filling. Make sure to tuck the edges in to prevent the filling from escaping.

Egg Wash: Place the rolled croissant on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top of each roll with the beaten egg to give a nice golden finish.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the croissants are golden brown and flaky.

Serve: Allow the croissants to cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
