Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

6 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes

24 slices pepperoni

1/4 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)

Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for topping)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out Crescent Dough: Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles. Lay them flat on the prepared baking sheet.

Add Cheese and Pepperoni: Take a piece of mozzarella cheese and place it at the wide end of each triangle. Top the cheese with 2 slices of pepperoni.

Season: Sprinkle a little garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the pepperoni and cheese for an extra burst of flavor.

Roll It Up: Starting at the wide end, carefully roll each triangle up towards the pointed end, ensuring the cheese and pepperoni are enclosed.

Brush with Olive Oil: Arrange the rolls on the baking sheet. Brush the tops lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Bake: Place the rolls in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping and garnish with fresh basil leaves if using.
