Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

8 oz penne pasta (or pasta of choice)

Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Pasta: Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and sauté for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring well to combine.

Add Flavors: Stir in the sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Combine: Add the sliced chicken back into the skillet, then stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens slightly.

Toss in the Pasta: Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together until the pasta is well coated with the creamy sauce.

Serve: Plate the Marry Me Chicken Pasta, garnishing with fresh basil and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan if desired.
