Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, beaten

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Breading Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully combined.

Set up a Dredging Station: Set out three shallow dishes - one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and the last with the breadcrumb mixture.

Dredge the Chicken: Take each chicken breast and season both sides with salt and pepper. First, coat the chicken in flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip it in the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat it with the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing down to ensure it sticks well.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle the melted butter over the tops of the chicken for added flavor and crispiness.

Bake the Chicken: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy. To ensure it's fully cooked, the internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).

Serve: Once baked, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve with your favorite sides.

                Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 45 minutes | Servings: 4
