Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 cup ranch dressing

1/4 cup bread crumbs

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

4 burger buns

Lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles (optional for toppings)

Olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined, but do not overmix to keep the burgers tender.

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, roughly 1/2 inch thick.

Heat a skillet or grill over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.

Once the skillet is hot, add the chicken patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the patties are golden brown.

If desired, add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Toast the burger buns on the same skillet until golden.

Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun and adding lettuce, tomato, and pickles as desired.

Serve immediately with your favorite sides, like fries or a salad.
